As a local congregation, Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded in 1998, dedicated to the simple and clear task of proclaiming hope in Christ. We strive to serve as many of our neighbors as possible by bringing them the only hope that matters – hope in Christ crucified and risen.
Hope Lutheran exists to shine the light of Christ’s love as we:
Hope Lutheran is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), the third largest Lutheran church body in America. With national offices in Waukesha, Wisconsin, WELS began in 1850 when three German pastors met in Milwaukee. Today, it has grown to over 1,200 congregations in North America and missions throughout the world. WELS has nearly 400,000 baptized members served by over 1,000 pastors.
Hope Lutheran exists to shine the light of Christ’s love as we:
- Make disciples of Jesus with the tools he’s given: the gospel in Word and Sacrament
- Nurture believers with those same tools for lives of Christian service
- Serve children and their families with a high-quality, curriculum-based early childhood education
