We invite you to join us for a worship service. We think you’ll be able to hear something special. The “something special” is not the polished rhetoric of our pastor, nor is it the winsome personality he may (or may not!) have. We’re convinced that the “Christ for us” message at the heart of the preaching and teaching is liberating and invigorating. We’re also convinced that such preaching and teaching is quite rare in our day.
We believe, teach, and confess that it’s all about Jesus Christ, crucified and risen – which means that in Christ, sinners stand as saints in the presence of a holy God. As believers, it’s all about Jesus Christ. That’s especially true when we gather together for worship.
The hope we have to share is this: in the unconditional gospel of Jesus Christ, proclaimed in the Word and given in the Sacraments, the human finds a place of safety and security, peace and joy, a home. And that’s all we’re trying to offer: a home in the hope of Christ Jesus, the crucified and risen Savior of all sinners.

Sunday ServicesIf you're looking for a warm, welcoming church that preaches the truth of the gospel, we hope you will join us! Services are Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday School & Bible Study
Before our service on Sunday, we offer Sunday School and Bible Study for the whole family at 9:30 a.m. We have groups for all ages (pre-readers to readers; young people/teens; adult Bible study led by one of our pastors), plus a staffed nursery for those who’d like to participate in Bible study while their children learn in an age appropriate environment.
BaptismCarefully following Christ’s command to baptize and teach “all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20), we baptize both children and adults to deliver to them personally the promise of God in Baptism. If you are interested in Baptism for yourself or your children, please contact one of the pastors. Baptism is free and, more importantly, it freely offers, gives, seals God’s blessings of forgiveness, life, and salvation.

Our Approach to Worship
As believers, Christ is at the center of everything we do. This is especially true when believers gather together for worship. Without Christ, we would have no reason to gather for worship. We would be separated from God and each other. We would cower in shame in the presence of the holy God. But Christ, our Savior, has restored our relationship with God. This fact brings us two-fold joy. We come to worship to receive his good gifts — the saving and empowering gospel in Word and Sacrament. In joyful thanks for his undeserved love, we give Christ our praise, our lives, our everything.
This cycle of receiving from God and giving to God characterizes each of our lives. It also characterizes the way we worship when we gather together. To accomplish this, we use a form of worship that traces its roots to the apostles themselves. It’s called liturgical worship. Christ is at the center of liturgical worship. Some parts of the liturgy stay the same each Sunday. This is to make sure that Christ is proclaimed and praised during every service. Some parts of the liturgy change every week. These changes are based on the appointed calendar of the church. This calendar makes sure that we cover the important events and teachings of Christ every year.
